Ticketmaster buys a ticket scalper for $265 Million

Ticketmaster has agreed to purchase TicketsNow a large internet ticket scalper which also owns Events Inventory, a ticket exchange system that has about 800 ticket scalpers listing their tickets. The price is runoured to be $265 million dollars US. Ticketmaster will now know who the largest scalpers are in the US. This has got to be a violation of anti-trust laws, but the sale will go through unless you contact your congress persons to let them know that you do not want to see Ticketmaster become a bigger monopoly.
